    Turn your idea into a marketable journalism pitch and learn how to approach editors with confidence.

    We’ll cover what to include, what to leave out, pitching etiquette, and essential dos and don’ts. Ideal for junior journalists and freelancers aiming to get published.

    You’ve got a story idea and the material, but what format suits your piece best? Portrait or Q&A for a great interview? Pros and cons explained.  Reportage or feature: when is it best to use first person?  How opinionated can or should your piece be?  We’ll work through your perspective, explore options and choose the right.

      For those with a first draft ready, this session provides a professional feedback + edit. We’ll review, tweak, and polish your piece together. The workshop includes fact-checking and legal tips, final touches, and everything you need to ensure your story is well structured and accurate –  ready for publication!

Whether you need a refresher, some motivation, insider tips, a boost of confidence, or professional feedback — or if you're simply stuck with a story — these sessions are designed to help you achieve professional results at each step of the reporting and writing process, all the way up to publishing.

Refreshers, and Deep-dives

  • Masterclasses are €200 for a 3-hour session in a mini group (3-6 people)

  • Book a private session for €150 (2,5 hours), and get a one-on-one suited to your specific needs.
